Job DescriptionWe are seeking a QA Engineer to join our Software Platform team basedin our office in Leuven. In this role, you'll be part of our Research & Development department, reporting directly to the Technology Manager, QA SW/AI Software & AI.
You'll work in a cross-functional, agile team of QA, software developers, system engineers, electrical engineers, and UX designers, driving the software and machine integration lifecycle for TOMRA's cutting-edge food sorting machines. You'll also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including pre-sales, service, and engineering teams.
We are looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of making sure every part of a complex machine works together as intended. You'll be responsible for verifying that all system integrations, spanning PLC, machine vision, sensors, firmware, software, and peripherals, align with the machine design specifications. A background in system integration testing will be valuable, and the ability to quickly understand and navigate complex system architectures is essential.
